I used to run my 77 all over the Trask around here, and then kept it up once I got the 76. I recall one trip up in the snow meeting a full size Ford 4x4 with more $$$s in tires than I had spent on the entire truck. He was turning around because he couldn't go any further, I was stopping to move the snow off my hood that had pushed up. I turned around about 6 miles later. In several years of wheeling a 2WD LUV I never had a chain or rope hooked to my truck for any reason except to pull someone else out.
I'll have to look, I think I have a pic or two of my 77 catching air coming out of a mud hole that looks like it could swallow a house. It was dark but you can see flying mud/water and enough to tell it is a luv in the middle of it.
