My luv has been leaking coolant form around the top of oil pan. Cant clearly see exactly where.
Not coming from radiator, water pump or thermostat.
Only leaks when it circulates.
Who knows how to fix?

Hey Stub,
It sounds like it could be where the coolant hoses connect to the tee under the intake manifold. I just replaced my bypass hose last week. It's the coolant hose that comes from the front of the cylinder head and curves around the head toward the rear, going between the distributor and the head and then under the intake manifold. Is it on the intake side of the engine? If it is, I'd check those hoses. They could be leaking anywhere along their length, so squeeze them all over and see if you get any water on your hand. The water must be coming from those hoses or a leaking plug on the engine block, not from the oil pan. They are difficult to reach. I used a small mirror to view the tee and visually check the placement of the hoses and clamps. You could do it all by touch. I thought about trying it from underneath, but I never did.

Stub, Go check those hoses! The other one goes around the rear of the engine head to the heater valve. Go on and don't say another word until you get your hands dirty and wash them after you check the hoses! LOL

Hmmm......the heater hoses.
for a while the heater was not sending hot air,
then I filled the radiator up (after some had leaked out) and then got some hot air.
Perhaps that is where it is leaking.
I will check it in the morning
thanks

Rondog has a good point, if it isn't the heater or bypass hoses then it would just about have to be a freeze plug.
