Ok so if you have seen f and f toyko drift, you know they swapped a sr20set into a mustang.
my question how hard would that be if i swapped that into my 81 Luv?
anyone know anything about this.
also how do i make it posi, with out welding the spider gears or whatever gears you weld

well first off it was an RB26DET that they swapped in the stang.

as for the SR youd have to check the oil pan for clearance, made motor mounts and wire it up.

Well you would need to check oil pan clearance, motor mounts, tranny mounts, drive shaft modified, as for the rear axle there is a LSD you can buy from these guys http://www.pureisuzu.com/locking_diff.htm the one for the Luv rear would be the part number IP-411s

SR or RB????

SR shouldnt be too hard to fit.

I would think that the RB would be a major job.

Miller tracking (welding the spiders to the side gears)is not a good way to get posi.It will work but will break when you least want it to. Do the S-10 rear swap and you have chioces of gears and posi's
