took some quick snaps of my buddies 71 chevelle. he finnaly got it back on the road a couple of months ago after the 383 swap.

its still got some stuff needing done in it. hes plannin to have the rearned rebuilt with moser axles, 411gears and a nice posi. its a stock 308 geared one legger right now. its a sweet cruiser right now though. does 80mph at like 3000rpms.

nope its a 71. has the split front markers on the fenders.

That looks a lot like the one I blew off the line at a stop light years ago, in my stock 77 LUV. He was so busy revving the motor and taunting me he forgot to look at the light and I left him behind for almost two blocks. It should have ate me for lunch as I'm sure this one would, provided the driver pays attention. ;)

well i do know right now i could have him till about 30mph, and then he'd rocket by me in a hurry! it isnt the racer it looks to be with the grandma gears in the back.

I think I hit 35 or so on the one I smoked before he went by, but he just got caught with his pants down and then floored it. All I saw in the mirror for a couple of seconds was tire smoke before he finally got it into the intersection. The really funny part was seeing the same car pulled over later that night with the red/blue light special behind him.

Guys, You talk like your stock Luvs are slow. Well,I'd like to take the opportunity to brighten your day. A few years back I ran my oh so stock 'yota at the local 1/4 mile track. 21.32 seconds @ 62 MPH. My wife's escort was MUCH faster! lol.
