hey guys newbie here, picking up a 75 luv tomarrow with 400 sb, 350 turbo, not sure on rear end, but has 5 lug on it. was curious about somethin, the guy has some camaro wheels on the back because he said all the other wheels stuck out of the fenders too far, and these stick out about an inch, any reason why? would the rear end outof an s10 be too wide? any help please, plus anything i should be looking for on the truck that is common problems? thanks

Hello and Welcome Fellow Newbie

The Deal With The Wheels Is Prob Due To That From 67-92 Camaros All Ran A 4-4 1/2 Inch Back Spacing and No A S10 Rear Axel Isn't To Wide and Fact Its Perfict For Most Luv apllications

The Biggest Thing Ive Found Hard To Find Is A Rust Free Bed Luckly Ive Came Accross One For Myself BUT Is Indeed A Hard To Find Thing

Ive Found Alot Of Trucks With Bent Tie Rod Ends, Might Just Be My Luck But Keep An Eye Out For That As Well

Another Thing Ive Heard Is If A Luv Is Been Sitting For A While Replace The Brake Master Cylender From What Ive Heard From One Of My Buddys Here In GA He Found Out The Hard Way, He Had Great Brakes Then All The Sudden None

But Really And Truly Rust Is A Luv #1 Issue

Hope I Was A Little Helpful

Not My Truck Sorry

It Is Bad Though

They Either Cut The Factory Hood And Wedged It

Or Molded A Fox Body Mustang Cowl On It

I'm Either Gonna Run One Similar Or A L88, Still Undecided

well since you said it has camaro wheels on the back im going to assume that its a GM rearend. more than likely an s10 rearend. you say that the wheel and tire combo stick out about an inch? its more than likely the backspacing on the wheels like blackluv said.

anyways, heres something that might help you tell what rearend is possibly in the truck.

looks at the one to the right. thats more than likely whats in the truck.

oh, and welcome to the site!!

To Add To The Farmers Comment

It Could Be A 4x4 S10 Rear End...They Are Slightly Wider
