any tips on doing this? i wanna go to the junk yard and get a set of donor fenders and start figuring out how im going do this, i finally got mustang 2 front suspension so i wanna do all this at once. I wanna lengthing the front end as much as possible without making the truck look stupid.

We extended the fenders and hood on a luv for the local dirt drags. we shortened the bed and moved the cab back on the stock frame. Before anyone asks, the reason for this was the rules said the motor had to line the "1 plug with the upper ball joint without shortening the wheelbase. Yeah, I know it sounds stupid. We cut the fender in the middle, then cut the front and rear off another set of fenders, and welded them together. Same with the hood. No need to ask for pics as it was so butt ugly we never took any. The fenders looked good, it was the rest of the truck.

once you come up with a plan, i think its best to leave it to a professional welder/fabricator to do....

it sounds pretty involved to me.
