i'm new here. just posting a quick hello. i don't currently own a LUV at the moment, but i would like to build one. they seem to have a good bit of potential. i suppose i would go more on a daily driver/commuter direction more than a wheel standing strip trick. who knows, it might end up turning into a rear bumper dragger.

The best thing about luvs is that you can start out stock and work your way up. Good luck on finding your projecy luv.

these trucks are hard to come by in decent shape. a friend of mine's dad has '77 mikado. only one i've ever seen that looked halfway decent in person. they are about as rare as hens teeth around here. well, in fixable shape. i saw a couple in a junkyard a few miles northeast of here a year or so back. i doubt they are still there. i figure i'll take a look after i replace a lifter or two in my c/10 this weekend.
