Well, my stock small block bit the dust today. I guess Sunday I will be pulling it and getting ready for a new power plant. I have not decided on what motor I want to run. I have a 360 Chevy motor out of a sprint car but it is dry sump and alcohol injected. I am really looking into the GM crate fast burn 383 that comes carb to oilpan, flexplate to dampener. I guess it is time to get off of my ass and make a decision. I hope to have it running again in 2-3 weeks.

Something in the back of my mind tells me to sell it as a roller, I guess I really need to do some thinking.

It was a tired old stock small block Ron. I got it hot again, it has allways ate coolant since I bought the truck. It has lasted longer then I thought it would.

Oh. I was hoping for something exciting like.... I was launching off the line and wound in up in 1st to about 6500rpm, just as I was shifting to 2nd,a push rod went out the left fender just above the LUV emblem....oil was everywhere...

sorry to hear about the motor... but now it gives a reason for some new fun...

and those stories about how a motor dies can be pretty good sometimes
