Im doing some research on Colins' V-6 Buick swap and he'll be needing a radiator setup that will work good enough to get him on the road. He's on a time schedule so it cant be too exotic. What can he find in a wrecking yard that will fit without to much modification? I dont know if his stock radiator can be modified for more cores. His truck was equipped with factory A/C. If somebody can give a fast, corrective action, we could sure use the help. We have lost too much time already dealing with getting a even-fire/ vacuum advance distributor. Thanks...John

Ones not to use-

anything out of a 6 cylinder rx7, had it, sukd.

the one i have now is a ford granada v8 radiator. it tries to do the job, but on my v8 falls a little short. It would probably do well on a 6. And the granada is a POC, so they only wanted like $20 for the radiator and shroud.

a buddy has a stock 6 cyl radiator that came with his nova, and it cools a high performance v8 well. might be too big to fit a luv though.

a 6cyl RX7????? Where in the hell do you find one of those????

The rx7's I've seen don't have cylinders... they have rotors.

Here's the link to the Aluminum radiator that Colin got for his truck. I think it could handle a V-8! The -22 will fit between the support braces and it's 19" tall. Just a little trimming on the bottom core braces and it will fit under the lip of the cross support. The filler neck looks a little high but it fit under the hood. With shipping, the total cost was 180.59 . If i'd have seen this before, i would have gone this route.
