Three were made. One is thought to have burned. Another broke in half while being lifted (and may yet be restored). The third is show quality and still road worthy...

This car was designed in Britland in the late 60s. It's not a Lotus...

I dont want that to be a thread killer...
The car is called a "Probe 16" designed and built by brothers Dennis and Peter Adams who achieved some notoriety designing race cars for Marcos Cars Ltd. A design based on the brother's Probe cars (there was a Probe 15 also) was sold as a kit-car called "Centaur GT" by Concept Cars Ltd.

The Probe 16 was used in the movie "A Clockwork Orange" as the "Durango 95" which Alex and his droogs went for a ride in...
