Ron has a complete stock truck...he might be able to offer some images...
The cable pivots inside the cab on the handle mechanism, does a hard 90* just at the firewall opening and runs directly behind the motor/along the firewall over to the frame pivot wheel that directs it to the rear....

Yea I forgot about this post. What exactly do you need a pic of? I'll try to do it on Thursday.

O.k. I have the manual and it is no help . I need from where the two rear cables that go to the backing plates and tie together at the trans crossmember to the lever on the passenger side . the stuff coming through the fire wall with the pulleys I got covered . When I bought this truck therew was a cable in the bed and it has what I think are the right ends but i think i'm missing some mounts or something because there is nothing to hold this cable and it has adjustment nuts and stuff . I am only missing one link and I will have a 9" ford installed with working ebake as I have hydraulic brakes working. Thanks fo rthe support and I will take a pic of the cable and post to this thread .

Basically this is your E-brake system.

Handle in the cab pulls cable, the cable makes a 90 degree turn at the fire wall by a pulley.

That cable then goes through another pulley on the passenger side of the fire wall. It ends up at a lever that is about 10 inches long and it pivots on a "bolt" welded on the passenger side of the frame. You should be able to see this from the top looking down.

The next cable then goes from the other end of that lever and connects to the lever on the trans X-member.

I assume you need pic's of the upper lever assembly, correct?

From the lever to the crossmember hookup . This seems to be a jacketed cable with a mount tab that goes somewhere and adjustment furrel that looks to go through some sort of mount or a hole in a crossmember . It actually looks as though it has a mount on both end with an adjustment on one and a tab with 2 mount holes for the jacket. I have spent alot of time on my back looking at this one and I am missing some thing . I will probably feel like a moron when I see it in place. thanks .

Ben the intermediate cable from that picture forward is what I need , but thanks for the picture I have all this hooked up just like that and already tied to the 9". That intermidiate cable is all thats left . The previous owner must have cut some brackets off.

Ron even if you forget the pics a good description will help me out as I bought this thing dis assembled .

The intermediate cable goes from that picture forward to the lever that is attatched to a pivot or "bolt" on the passenger side frame rail about 6 inches from the fire wall. It would hook to the bottom of the lever, the top would hook to the primary cable coming from the fire wall.

From the lever, forward, it goes through this little guide (bent metal spot welded to pan).

Then to this arm. The cable has a hook on the end like the clutch cable and hooks to the arm.

From the top looking down...

Then on the other end of the arm the cable from the plastic wheel hooks on. The "bolt" that the lever is on is welded to the top of the frame rail.

BTW is this a stock LUV or your V8 swap that you are asking about. Did you go with a manual trans in your V8 Luv?
