I recently did the DGAV? conversion and I want to go from the electric choke to the manual one. So I hooked up the conversion kit but the choke is kind of hard to rotate so the choke isnt working. I removed the linkage from the butterfly and the butterfly rotates easily. And the linkage is also fairly easy to move when disconnected, but when they are connected, the flaps stick and they are hard to turn. Any ideas? Thanks!

Cable routing has too many bends or you'll need to get a stouter cable. I went thru this with my Holley 4 bbl. I got a better cable from Tractor Supply. It was a "Stop" cable for a tractor but it works just fine even though i never use it.

You should always oil the devil out the cable before you install it with engine oil. Dry cables are a pain to try to use..and make sure you don't over tighten your choke linkage part that connects to your butterfly flaps or they will bind up and not turn worth a darn too sometimes.

Hope this helps!
