Can I bolt a G200 into my LUV? If so, what years?

I saw a post on here that someone did that, but I've been asking around and people are not sure that the bellhousing bolts up the same.

I'm looking for cheap ways to keep a 1979 4x4 LUV on the road and fuel efficient.

im guessing your talking about the 2.0L isuzu 4banger (i think thats the motor code for it anyway). If so you should be able to pull out of a trooper or a pup from the same year whith a 4speed and it should match. But before just running away from the doner rig make shure there isnt a factor adapter plate.
