what upgrade carb can i put on in a weekend with out n e mods that will add a little horse power to the stock 1.8. i don't need alot but just enough so i don't slow down going up this one hill around my town. thanx.matt

weber 32/36 DGV type carb. It's concidered a direct replacement carb for the 1.8 motor. But it doesn't have provisions for emissions. It's a mechanical secondary carb that will provide additional power to the stock engine

i have a 380cfm webber and it works awsome. And you can even pass emisions whith alittle tweaking. And if you need a bit more power you can always put on spacers.

so if i added more spacres to the stock carb would that add some hp?
