Finally got my LUV cooled down. Swapped the Radiator, intake ( busted a thermostat bolt on mine!), new thermostat, swapped the Exhaust manifold (got one with 2" down tube), Glass pack, and got rid of the rest of the EGR crap. Oh, and painted the Exhaust manifold, and Valve cover with Hi-Temp Aluminized silver paint. All this took care of my overheating problem. Looks pretty cool 2! 8)

Glass pack is WAY LOUD!!!!! But it sure sounds better than these "Tuner" guy's with their "coffe cans"!

Course now I gotta clean the rest of the engine bay now.............

That is looking good. I painted the exhaust manifold on my trooper with that super high temp paint and it made things look a lot better. I did get a tiny little bit of peeling though in a couple spots where I didn't quite get all the rust cleaned off, or maybe I got some finger oil on it after I wiped it down. I went with black though. I actually just picked some aluminized looking hi-temp paint today though to do the heat shield/stove deal.

No, use some Purple Power spray or Simple green spray to wash all that off, i never pressure wash anything but my LTD's engine bay looks better than what detail at my work does.

Thanks guys!

I'm hopin' to get'er cleaned up B 4 the 12th, simple green sound like the ticket, too many filters to cover to power wash.

The manifold's stock, but someone welded a 2" pipe to the stock colector.

I'll bring my old one with me if you want..........
