Sounds good to me.

If Bob is coming and Ben is ok with it, I was thinking around Magic Mountain or Castaic or something like that. It would be easier on Bob and closer for Karl. I don't mind the drive from my place if that works for Ben too.?.?

Or ,, I'm kind of central to Ben and Karl (BTW Ben are you still out in SB area, or have you moved west yet?) and if it was close enough to me (no freeway) I could bring both Luv's. (The blue 78's wrist pin knock is getting pretty loud).

I have no problem traveling, just don't call my luv a trailer queen when it shows up on a trailer.

Just a side note to all members:::

I told Rondog and rpoz11 the keys were in my LUV, take it for a ride, it is insured and legal, they both did not take me up on the offer.

I wasn't afraid!!!
My only concern for you was if I was going to bring it back!
8)

Id like to make that meet but I lost compression in my 305 Saturday coming back from Bakersfield from picking up some parts. So now I need a new shortblock for my 84 GMC. If I can ever get my machinist to finish my 406, I might put that in my 84 and build a different motor...Luckily, I have a few 400 blocks in stock!

Just another roadblock for me to move forward on my LUV :(

I have a place in mind right close to the house here. I'll check for Sunday hours tomorrow.

OK. The Carriage Restaurant at 14871 E. Imperial Hwy. La Mirada Ca. 90638.

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?fo ... &geodiff=1

I stopped in today and they open at 6am. I thought about 8 or 9am would be good for us though huh?

It is at the east end of Telegraph Rd. where it dead ends at Imperial.

For those coming south bound, option #1... exit I 5 at Imperial and head east until you get to Telegraph. (signal there) You'll see the Restaurant on your left at the point.

Option#2... Southbound I 5 to I 605 North, exit Telegraph , head east until it ends at Imperial.

Option #3... I 605 south , exit Telegraph head east until it ens at Imperial.

If you are coming from OC or SB exit the 57 at Imperial and head west until you come to the Telegraph signal. It will be a street to the right only. You'll see the Restaurant on the right at that point.

All are welcome. Bring your wifes, girlfriends, (only one or the other please, we don't want to be uncomfortable :D ), kids etc. and your LUVs too of corse!

Any other ideas, please feel free to post. There is a nice park really close also if we choose to cruise over there. 8)

I told them I would give them a heads up if it's more than 10 people.

The parking lot has plenty of room for the trailer too.

Well it looks like I will be there but without either the LUV or the blue bomber S-10 (should be sold on Friday). So I guess I'll be sporting the Saturn Vue this time around. How did you want to do the parts there Karl?

I can bring them or you can come here, but I think it is a shorter trip for you if I bring them to breakfast.

Is Ben dead, will he be showing up or what?
