Ctmandu..i am seeing this truck almost everyday now, looks to be a nice chop top done at one time, I am trying to figure out what business he works in.....

I also saw a 78-80 shortbed fleetside witha white camper top yesterday as well!
8-10-06: I got his lic # today, not that that means anything.
Seems to be an older gentleman who owns it...
I am pretty sure it is a 77; dual headlight system and tall rear lights.

I keep forgetting my digital, but It is there everyday now!
Nice chop top done, looks like good work!
The stepside looks like one I see for sale here on the site, outside lower hinges for the tailgate, his rear bumper is different though!!!
Its a late 70s early 80s El Camino bumper that has been shortened, and flipped upside down, kinda different!!!!!

CTMANDU..........

I met the new owner of that Yellow stepside today.
He bought it from the previously listed owner here on this site.
He has started to do a few changes.
We shall see if he registers and communicates with you!
He had many questions...
Hope to see him here...

isnt those fair grounds considered Costa Mesa? isnt that where they run speedway bikes? anybody know if they still do that? thats some good stuff. I remember a guy usee to get up on the wall between races with a big cup of beer in one hand and do his balancing act all the way around the whole entire track. Larry Huffman was announcing in the back ground and all the while the crowd is cheering him on and re-filling his beer cup as he goes. Does anybody know if they still race there???? .

I know they had some racing while the O.C. fair was going on last month. As far as regular racing all year, I can only say I think they do.
