not me, but i have to ask, does the coolness of vegas wear off if you live there. Tell me in detail how crappy it is and why.

From a tourist standpoint, Id think it was the best place on earth to live

well im under age so it sucks lol and i cant go out clubbing or drinking and i dont even have my truck yet so when you basically do nothing but work and once in awhile ego out for cofee or a movie its beguins to suck! and the strip isnt all that great after a while its like looking at a dead tree everyday for the rest of your life and not even being ablw to climb it *twirls finger* woo whoo
but i have to admit there are a few good points like being able to go bungee jumping without haveing to "go all the way to vegas":D lol but yeah that and its kinda fun to take people out that hacvee never seen the town and show em around its kinda funny watching all the people gawk at stuff we almost got into an accident last time i was on the strip noone would move with the watershow was going

only been to Sin City a few times here.. mostly passing though on my way home in Colorado.. Cali to Colorado nice place to lay over for a bit... probably end up there for a night before we do our annual mojave run.. if not there a bit closer to the cali border... too bad i cant take my Luv... not ready for a 200 mile off road tirp yet.. hehe.. maybe next year...

lol damn its soooooo boring out here when your under age and to think iv only seen 1 LUV in this entre city!

I guess i will have to drive up there in one of mine.. hehe.. and make it 2.. hmm.. i wonder if i can make it back in one piece....

Almost moved there with the family about 5 years ago, but went to seattle instead. Im from san fernando valley origanally, and felt vegas would be a lot like CA. with all the drugs and gangs.. etc. Spokane is a broke town, there isnt enough money here to draw all the big city drug problelms. All my kids are blonde with blue eyes and they would have stuck out like a sore thumb so we changd our mind. So we went there to pick up furniture at a big "walkers" furniture in vegas, and had a blast on the strip. were coming back this fall for a visit.

uhmmm hunny head out to the north west the newer nicer part where its not quite so dark and icky its pretty nice out where i am and lots of blond hair blue eyes:P but i dont really like the place so i dont know why im defending it well good luck

never been to vegas, but i have been to Ft Irwin CA (twice) talk about middle of freakin NOWHERE!!
next time i go out there (2004) i may take a trip into Sin City

Vegas rocks!!!! (I couldn't imagine living there though!) I want to go back again sometime. The coolest thing in the world happens in Vegas!!!!!!!!

Hey all, Well as you can tell from my profile over there< I'm from NV.
It's a little town in the middle of downtown nowhere. About 310miles from Vegas. Vegas is cool if you have the time and money to get the bender done proper. Went there for my 21st b-day stayed at motel way at the end of the strip(Saw it on"COPS" 2 weeks later) $350 and me and my buddy were blasted for 2 days, slept for 16 hrs and got blasted for 2 more then come to find out they were having the adult video awards while we were there and we didnt even know it. They market it as a computer convention so as not to raise suspicion I guess. I like to get to Vegas when I can.
