well i just got back from a little 'get gas run' and i have to say that the 456s are gonna help me off the line, but im gonna have to do like 4500 prms to do like 70 in this thing. im gonna miss goin 95 on the freeway.

it takes off like crazy in 1st now, and if i powershift to 2nd itll break em loose pretty good. kinda weird.

im thinkin about takin the old rearend apart and welding the spiders and putting some fresh fluid in it and using it as like a 'screw around' rear. i dont know...

should run faster this time. ive adjusted the rockers, tuned the carb so im not running pig rich, ive got 4.56s now, and i have new shorte4r tires in the back on lighter rims.

i ran a 19.2 last time, and next friday should be in the 17s 18s. i dont know though.

i need a new rear ujoint. well at least i think i do. the driveline starter vibrating again today, so i dont know. if it aint one thing its another...

well im back from the track, and pretty damn happy, and tired. lol

the went awsome! i had a great time! but the best thing was, i broke into the 18s!! the new gearing in the rear kicks ass!! i got my 60 foots down from a 3.00 to a 2.6.

my first run i ran a 18.762 @ 71.19. had a 2.7 60ft
second run was a 18.576 @ 71.61 with a 2.6 60ft
third run was a 18.752 @ 70.57 with a 2.6 60ft
and the fourth run was a 18.709 @ 66.10 with a 2.6 60ft.

the 3rd and 4th runs were ilimintation rounds. i won the 3rd run against a new ford f-650. this truck was huge!!! he redlighted so i got the run. the 4th run was against a 94 4x4 isuzu pickup. he treed me off the line and i lost.

i had a awsome time though! anthony, you should have come out!
ill try and get pics tommorow...

Well, I went racing friday, ran 14's pretty much all night. I don't think my secondaries are opening on my carb  It must of been 110 degrees that day! Was able to some what get off the line with out spinning to much. Ended up dropping my tire pressure to 20 psi, and it helped. Had a little trouble with the truck, but nothing I couldn't fix. Didn't get any pics, but sure had fun!!!!

Yes, and no :? Its kinda hit and miss. I ground down the steering column to where its not touching as much, and it kinda wentaway, but I still need to readjust the valves on the drivers side. Kinda went with the intetions of F#*k it, if it blows it blows, and the truck ran pretty damn good. So, I will mess with it again soon, cuz I want to race this coming friday!!!
