well anthony, your gonna be pissed at me, but i havent been able to get to the school for the last couple of days, so i dont know if your heads are done or not. im gonna be talkin to the shop teach later on, so ill go pick up the heads and all the parts if there are parts still. i hope theyre put together.

dumbass move on my part. been kinda busy applyin for jobs and interviews and stuff.

mkay, talked to the shop teacher and he wont be going to the shop till monday. so ill definantly pick them up on monday.

now TR told me that the one head still needed the mating surfaces cleaned up, so ill finish up cleanin em with the wire wheel at your place i guess. ill have to find a spring compressor too so i can put the valves and springs and stuff.

i guess TR got done with school and started working full time, so he just gave up on the heads. so, i dont know. ill definantly get them on monday though... for sure!!

alrighty,

i talked to TR as well, and he said that he could finish them up on tuesday, if the shop will be open then!

and all the shit he would need is at the shop i am guessin, it may be easier to let him do that instead.

well my buddy shane and i got all the pistons and whatnot in and torqued down! so i am waiting for pay day to buy a new oil pump. and then i can throw on my new chrome pan!! by then the heads will be done, and painted, ready to go on!

the only thing we are going to have to wait for is the intake, i will order one this week for sure! and after all of that, it should be ready to go!

just lil shit here and there i am sure

it is comin together




oh neil, we need to fab up that tranny mount. and then inda figure out what length of driveline we are going to need. then i can try and find a stock one that wont need shortening!

Make sure you rough up the inside outer edges of that chrome pan, or it will be your worst nightmare!!!!

well i guess thats why lees chrome oil pan in the 78 always leaked. huh... learn somethin new everyday!!

alrighty!! we made quite a bit of progress today with the truck. i finally got the heads back to him and the motor is now almost ready to run. it went from a unpainted shortblock, to a chevy orange edelbrock intaked piece of machinery!! i bet if i went over there tommorow i could have it runnin. we also did a bunch of parts runnin today and he spent a good 150bux on the this and that stuff. anthony took some pics of the motor, so he should be posting up some pics sometime of the gem! this truck is gonna be at the races on july 28th for sure!! 13s here we come!!

but really, if your gonna make the 28th we do need to get shit in gear. waddles bottom end for the s10 is at the machine shop, so ill be basically free for a week and half. the pup doesnt drink that much either...
