O.k. I am working on my brother in law's truck replacing the head gasket. I have found tons of great info on this site however, I need a little more info...

like:
Head bolt order and torque specs
&
Timing gear bolt torque spec. :lol:

I would appreciate all the help you could give me since the auto store clerk was stuck at hello! :evil:

Important information about the truck.
1976 Chevy LUV 1.8 two wheel drive and a ton of rust! :oops:

I did a little more digging and found a cool service from autozone. On their web site - autozone.com - there is a section called specifications. Enter the year and model, select the information desired and "Bam" there it is! Beats talking to the dummies at the counter and at least they don't have to order it in... So now I have the head bolt torque specs and order now all that i need is the timing gear bolt spec. Lets hope that the info is correct I'll post later if I blow up the Head! :lol:

I haven't been able to test the specs mentioned earlier (see Oh SH** post) I still need the torque spec for the top timing gear. Any help would be great! Thanks! :lol:
