well i finaaly decided that i needed to get the yard cleaned up. so, i took the tarp off of all my old junk motor/car parts and loaded it all up in the pup. i ended up putting 1 datusn rearend, 3 trannys, g180 bottom end, pup starter, pressure plate, driveline, datsun tailgate, toyota 20r head, 2 torque converters, bunch of loose leaf springs, chunky radiator, 2 boxes of pistons and rods, 250 int/exh mani fold, bucket of parts from the 250, and some various scrap metal. that was only the first load. i had the pup freakin slammed on the axle. it looked awsome all low and stuff! i ended up weighin in at 3510lbs when i got to the scrapyard. when i unloaded it weighed 2330lbs. thats 1180lbs of scrap i had in the pup! that was just one load. the second load wasnt anything to brag about though. i put a 250 block, head, crank, and cam in there, along with a suzuki 150 bike motor, and the stocker hi-crappy carb from the pup. that was like 300lbs.
then yesterday, i went and recycled 17lbs of aluminum.
so all in all, i made $27.95 for just some scrap. but then i spent 15 bux on gas and now im almost out of money again. i do know now that the pup weighs 2330lbs with an empty tank though. just think if i put a v8 in that sucker.
well just wanted to inform all of you about my day so far.
