Does anyone know what the hell that noise is? It seems that my last truck used to do that too. I have a 1980 all stock Luv and to me it sounds like the Bendix to the starter or could it be the exhaust? it sounds like metal clattering as soon as i go 70mph or faster. PLease Help

what is it like when you start it? does it make any strange noises from the starter? there could be something broken off and is rattleing around in the bell housing, or if ya can get under ur car at all, bash on the mufflers with ya hand and see if ya can hear anything rattling around in there.

I wonder what mine would act like at 70 never had it that high... When the state of Kansas increased the speed limits ofver 55 my truck though it was an insult! lol
