found this pic on a local forum. its the overflow deal for the owyhee resivoir. ive looked down this hole when the water is low and not flowing down it and its freakin scary. just a big black hole!! 8O

yeah that is weird. I used to go fishing there like everyweekend. Its is really freaky! When I was little I used to call it King Kong's toilet.

Not the kind of place you want to fall asleep floating around on an inner tube I guess. Could be fun though, like going through the hydrotube water slide only darker. Wonder how far away the outfall is...

well i aint neil but i guess i can awnser that. It drops like 200 feet to the bottom of the damn dam. Nothing makes it out alive i havent seen a single living fish come out of that thing. When I was younger I was always woried that my dad would get drunk in the boat and take us closer and closer to that thing and get sucked in by that. Not only do they have that glory hole thing they also got lots of "little" syphins all over the resivoir. Definently not a good place to swim.
