60 ft 1.48- 1.49's
1/8 - anywhere from 6.79-6.91 depending on weather

Well, took the luv to the track saturday, but got there late and they were shutting things down  Went up to the booth and talked to the announcer, and he let me run 1 time! I raced against a v8 s10 that was tubbed and running slicks. Well I got off the line great, but spun em in 1st for about a sec. or 2, but got it to hook up pretty good to where I was able to dump the throttle and go! I only ran a 15 but to my surprise, the s10 only beat me by 1 sec.!!!! So even though I don't think 15 sec. is a good time, at least the other guy only got me by 1

what rear and gearing are you runnin toby? a 15 aint that bad. lees best in his 78 was a 14.1 and that was with a s10 rear with 256s in it.

Its a ford 8in. and I don't know for sure the gearing. I believe it was 3 turns of the driveshaft to one turn of the wheel. :? Dennis bought a deal to swap my rear over to posy, but I need to come up with some cash to get it from him. I think with a posy rear, and about 400lbs in the bed, I should be able to go a lil faster!

skip the 400lbs, just run a posi (or mini spool) with 3.70 or 4.11's and a 28x10 slick, slapper bars and loosen up the torsions to where the truck is pretty much sitting on the bump stops. dont add weight. it will hook fine if you set it up right.
