mkay. got a big chunk done today. i took over a cherry picker to anthonys and we got the mockup block and tranny in the truck. once again, no firewall modifications will be made. theres is plenty of room between the tranny and tunnel, the dist and firewall, and the oil pan and crossmember.

heres a pic of the block without the heads and intake.

this is the clearance between the firewall/tunnel and the tranny.

an overall with the heads and intake set on the block.

we rolled it out into the sun with the most of the motor stuff in and i got a really good pic of the truck.

heres a shot of the luv in the shop.

well i went over to anythonys yesterday and we got a littl bit of stuff done. anothy had already bought and installed the s10 rear the day before, so that was almost done when i came over. we finished hookin up the brake lines and got the drums on it.

i also got the rest of the motor torn down. i freakin trashed my ring finger on my left hand on the motor. i was turning the motor over by the balancer and the motor turned all of a sudden and i caught my middle knukle on the timing cover. damn thing started bleedin like crazy. pissed me off. damn thing cut deep too. hurts like a mofo too.

but anyways, the motor is down to a block, the pistons look good, the crank looks good and the bores look good! anthonys gonna be ordering a cam kit today, so thatll be here in a couple of days. we also are needing to find a short style water pump.

but its gettin along. ill keep ya updated.

well by wire i mean like some wire to go from the + to the coil on the dist so you have spark.

ill tell TR. hes workin full time now since schools over, so hes got a guy putting the heads back together. they should be done by the end of the week or sooner.

do you have some paint to squirt on the heads?
