oh damn i thought you were running a 4speed i musta got you mixed up wtih somebody else. the 480/280 cam will work ok with a stock stall but will totally scream with a 2800-3500 stall behind it. the one they recommended will work fine with a stock automatic but would also benefit from a looser converter like 2500-3000 you really have to plan on what you will do in the future too. with a cammed and tunnel rammed 327 a high stall converter is a must anyway. consider your future plans for the motor when choosing a cam too.
