I can take the hood, I live in Camarillo, about 40 miles from Torrence if that helps.

I am considering just coming up Saturday. Since its a 3 hour drive one way, it woudnt be worth it for me to drive up Friday for a few hours and then drive back. I take it you guys are going to the drag on Saturday. Does that mean some of you will watch the drag and some will drivve in the drag?

If your going to run at the strip just remember that it is going to be so packed on that weekend that you arent going to be able to make but a couple of runs if you are lucky. Things arent looking good for my truck right now so I might be driving my other truck but I am going to be there for sure.

From what I have heard they have pretty picky tech officials but more than likely Im sure they will tell you go ahead and go but dont come back until you meet the standards.

I think, the only things that would hold me back is 1- no rad. overflo tank, and 2- if they find out my master cylinder for my brakes is out. Other than that, I don't think I need anything else

I believe when I put the ford rear in, and during the bleeding of the brake line process, my wife did the peddle pumpin, and I think we busted the diaphram, cuz with the Vac hooked up, the peddle goes all the way to the floor. So I unhooked the Vac, and now its just a little tougher to push the peddle, but stops pretty good

If you feel its safe to run I dont think the tech guys would catch it. I was really hoping to have my truck ready for the meet I havent had a chance to run it down the strip yet. I havent even driven it since the new motor went in.

Its a combination of things right now. Im in the process of moving and I have things kind of scatered and I work construction and its at the slow as usuall for this time of year so I have to put my bills before my toys. I am at the point where all I need is alot of little things that nickel and dime you to death. Im sure by next weekend I will have it pretty much sorted out.
