the LUV suspension is pretty decent. any reason why you want to ditch it?

what part of NM are you from?

the components of a stock Mustang II front end weigh more than a stock LUV front end. you do get the benefit of a nice rack and pinion steering and you can lighten them up a lot if you put chrome moly tubular A arms, coil overs and an aftermarket x-member but the LUV front end is a proven strong and good performing front end and.... best of all its already there. just something to consider.

Cool. I have a friend that lives in Clovis, NM so whenever i see somebody from NM i have to ask.

Put some coil overs on and ditch the bars. Do a search on coil over subject. Its worth checking out.
