Just to let you all know I've been one of those guests down at the bottom of the site for almost a year now. The main reason I didn't register was because I don't have a place to even work on a LUV. But I'm working on renting a house so hopefully I will be able to have a place to work on cars.

I live in Mesa, AZ. Yeah its the desert, but its only really hot for only two months the rest of the year is either nice, or bearable.

Anyway, I'm lookin for a LUV. I do have help around Seattle if anyone can help. I do like the 79' the best but any other years will do just fine. I wanna put a V8 in it, so it doesn't have to run. I've seen the miracles work around here so I was hopin I could get a hold one for myself.

Welcome, glad you decided to register. As you have seen, we have allot of experience in small block conversions. Ask away, I am sure we as a group can help.

Hope your not going there for the Lake  the golf course isn't that bad, not as good as others in the state, but better than nothing.

No not for the lake... Just like the area, pretty close to the canyon, monument valley, valley of the gods, mesa verde all that kind of stuff. Most is just a day trip... Besides being low, is something wrong with the lake? besides the stripers taking over?

Oh nothing wrong with the lake, it's just not really there any more  we've been in a major drought for like the last 7 years, lake is only at about 33% capacity, about 100ft below the "normal" water line. Yup all the cool stuff is a day's drive away. Monument Valley is my backyard (parent's backyard that is, I'm stuck in Prescott now for school) and i practicly grew up at the canyon, my dad's a major hiking nut, has logged like 11,000mi of hiking in the canyon, crazy stuff. Any way, cool, it'll be nice to have another Luv'er here in AZ, you would be bringing the Luv right??
