I have absinth! 8O :lol:
Now unfortunately its distilled so its non-halucinegenic but its still 110proof alcahol that tastes like licorice. Man its some freakin potent stuff!
So yeah party at my place this weekend! :lol: 8)

yeah it was perty fun, my brother was perty drunk after 2 glasses of that stuff and i was perty much wasted after 3 glasses and a beer. It may be $36 a bottle but it makes JD seem like cheerleader beer :lol:

the original absinthe contained large amounts of lead among other things. Artists used to drink it and hallucinate off it. eventually some would get lead poisoning. Some classic painting that depict light and stars have a ring around it which was one of its side effects (hallucinating a halo around light). Image I'm sure most ppl know that van gogh was a absinthe freak. whats that got to do with today's absinthe? absolutely nothing. lol. just thought I'd give todays art lesson.

anyway a friend in New Mexico is bringing me some Everclear soon. I love that sh!t

Well I heard on a show today, that Vincent Vangough was drinking Absinthe, when his gay lover (damn, cant remember his name. Another artist) told him, he wanted to break up. Anyway, I guess the other guy told him (Vangough) to kill himself. Well, I guess with the Absinthe in him, he took out a knife and cut off his own ear, and supposidly gave it to some prostitute. Anyway, just some info I heard. Thought I would share.

never heard that he was gay but its possible, the guy was so out there. I do know that he had an obession with a prostitute (who's name escapes me, some nordic name like Hornick or horny ) and painted some portraits of her. he was so spun out over this whore that he cut his ear off and left it on the steps of the brothel that she worked at. then he painted several self portraits of him and his head all bandaged up and several self portraits of him missing his ear. I believe the love of his life also gave him the clap which probably contributed to him going insane (stage 3 syphillis or gonnorhea infects the brain)

lol. agreed... but fascinating nonetheless.

I guess to me life is one giant sociology project. I'm fascinated with how people act and why.
