mkay, i was wondering what the ratios were for a 77 luv 4 speed tranny, a 84 pup 4 speed, and a 5 speed. the 77 luv tranny i put in the pup has the crappiest 1st gear, and i dont like it at all.

if i could get some info on the ratios, it would be great. 8) 8)

man the difference is like day and night. i used to be able to do a pretty good burnout on dry pavement with the old tranny, but now it has a hell of a hard time just getting the truck movin. itll work for now, but id like to have my old ratios, cuz im gonna be injecting and turboing the pup.

I know the 80 4speed in my LUV and the 86 5speed in my trooper are geared the same (as per the shop manuals)

I guess the 4x4's had different ratios from the 2wd, cause i know that my parent's '88 Trooper has the same gears as my Luv
