Welp, it's not official yet, but my 82 LUV is about to be sold... what price you ask.... $2,300... I'm trying to think of what i might be able to get, there's two BMW coupes near my place, one is $1800 (don't know much more about it) and the other one is a 90' auto, 181k miles, but don't know the price, they're both RED, or should I try to look for something like an RX7 or mr2 or maybe a cheap lil' supra??? My dad's taking my truck to show it to the guy that's gonna buy it, so I get to drive the red truck.... yipee! NOT

Anyone got any ideas on what i should get, or anyone want to offer a little more???

ya don't say?

Looked up the 1990 BMW, it's $4k, NOT happenin'
Couldn't find the other on the web, I'll stop by it mon. aft. and sneak a peak, along with a few other little imports they have.

personally final if i had to choose from the selection you gave. I would have to go with the rx7. you cant bust those rotary motors and plus im just a fan of the old rx7.

Yeah, there's one I think in G-boro, and the other place w/ the BMW had one, I think I saw it there recently at the shop or something there.

Finalman, I'm surprised you are going to sell your diesel. I'd thought you would probably have kept it longer. Good to see that you can get the right price for it though because it is worth that price. Great trucks and you might find yourself wanting to buy another after you have had your current replacement for awhile. My personal opinion says, "Go out and buy another diesel." Haha. Anyways, good luck with what you do buy.

Oh I would've loved to have kept it longer, but I could find another one for 1g and have it too and maybe buy that BMW, ohhhh ideas ideas.

I was going to restore the truck, lower it, new tinted back glass with 32% window tint, painted black, new interior peices, then when the diesel in the red auto busted I was going to swap em' and stuff a V8 in mine.... but i'm perfectly fine with selling it, and maybe buying a nice gas luv or TD pup, or at least that bemmer... BTW It's a 325i that i'm looking at, I asked a guy at work if the bemmers around that year were any good and he said the only one's he's heard of are the 5 series having electrical problems.

Well, someone's coming today to take a look at it. He's offering 2,250 for it, which is still as good. We have a family friend that's a SAAB mechanic that has his own shop, he also buys and sells SAABs and other cars so he's gonna see if he can find a decent 900 16V, 900t, or a 900spg. That or another little 5 spd FWD car. I'm thinking about maybe a 300gt though, after I get my taxes back!

Welp, It's pretty much sold now, I have a down payment on it and he's getting the rest next week when he picks up the truck. I'll still pop in my head on the boards, who knows.

Well, she's gone, for 2350, I threw in some 15'' modulars, the bench, the hitch that came with it, and a tool box. So now we've been getting offers on the red-auto that I'm driving, but if we sell that then I have nuttin' to drive.... I'll just bum my g-pa's car or something.

Whatever it is, it needs some muscle, unless I get a little 4 cyl celica or something like that.

Finalman, just take your time in whatever you get and try and not buy a lemon. I think BMW in general are good, but if you get one that needs repairs, parts cost a lot more than a Luv's.

Yeah, I realize that, my dad mentioned something to this mechanic up the road about BMW's Saabs n' wat-not import stuff, he said stay away from them. But he said the only thing I should get from GM is something RWD w/ a V8, hence the trans am.

Well, out of nowhere, my dad found me a car... It's a 1970 LTD sedan, 390, 77k miles, 1 OWNER!!! Green with green int., has the factory AM radio, three small tears in the vinyl top and two small ones in the cloth seats., the rear seat has NEVER BEEN SAT IN, the plastic covers from the fact. are still on the belts, needs a carb rebuild and a fuel filter, it's squirting gas out of the accel. pump and float bowl and the filter isn't seating right or something., It has AC on it too.

My dad's going next sat. to re-build the carb and put a new filter on., then i'm gonna take it next next sat. to work (i'll be sure to have a full tank of prem. and several bottles of inj. cleaner, 25- MPG isn't too appealing. We'll re-sell the car later and make some profit.

Oh and I got this thing for a grand.... BWAHAHAHAHHAA does that make me jewish? (no offense to any jews)
