I thought it would be fun to drive up for this...not really too far for me.

but one question:

Would I be in the only LUV that looks like a 30 yr old vehicle?

Don't get me wrong, I love my LUV but does look ugly...dull, faded yellow...rusty truck box...smokey glass...heck, I once accidently had a fire in the bed (long story, but with a happy ending!)

It doesn't matter. If you like Luv Trucks then bring it on up.

Mine is a work in progress and Im not going to have time to get it where I want it by april. I just hope I can get my motor in it and have all the major bugs worked out.

I'm in the same situation. Mines a work in progress. Its primer gray and I still am trying to figure out my motor situation. Though even if I dont get my Luv ready, I think it will be fun to meet everyone else and check out their Luvs.

I take it you guys are meeting on friday evening, is everyoen going to hang out saturday as well? I am thinking I may end up just driving up saturday if its a 2 day event.

Mine is primer grey right now except the engine compartment I painted in last weekend. People that want to meet friday will probably meet up somewhere then saturday the plan was to go to the dragstrip.

I need to go easy on My Luv I have been driving the shit out of it doing donuts rock climing car pushing. I need to stop if i want to bring it to reading.

DAMN!!!!! I wish i lived a little closer you guy's are going to have so much fun. i wish there were more people on the east coast so we could plan some kind of getogether so i could show off my luv. oooooo well i guess i'm just jelouse shit happens.

We have a month before we get to the show. Allot can happen between now and then. Let's let things play out until a couple of weeks before. If you ever had been to one of these before you would understand.

I took a little time last night and looked through the member directory and emailed a few people in the redding area trying to get a few more people to maybe show up. I havent heard any thing back but who knows the more people that show up the better.

Well guys, the wife and I did some price checking and compared it to our savings account. We decided we're going to sit this one out.

You two can crash in my motorhome. Hell you can even drive up with my wife and I.
