mkay, on codys luv, we started out with a 4x4 luv and converted it to 2wd with pup spindles. now that works fine, but since it was once upon a time a 4x4, we cant get the suspension in the front any lower. theres a good 4 to 5 inch gap between the tire and the fender on the front. hes runnin a 195 60 r15 in front, so thatll give ya a idea of what the gap looks like.

now, i ve heard from other minitruckers re index the torsion to get a lower static drop. how do you do this?? ive got a basic concept, but i need to know the details, like if theres any cotter pins or stuff that i wouldnt notice.

You take the end with the adjuster off the bar, and put it back on turned some so that you can get it to go lower. Be sure to mark the bar and the adjuster arm before you take them off so you can figure out how much to to move them. Also, things always look backwards under there so take some time to be sure you know how they need to turn to lift/lower.
