Hey Luvnit you should pull the distributer cap off your Luv, that way it be much harder to steal. I'm going, though it may not be with my Luv.
I only live about 3 or 4 hours from Redding. I'd probaly just come for the day. It sounds like you guys are meeting at Wal-mart at 730, but is that Friday for the drag? I scanned all the posts but it was confusing with a bunch of people saying "730?" "What time again?". SO who ever knows whats going on give me a timeline of whats going on. ie. first meet at 730 friday...then meet up saturday...

Oh yea, I'd like to rebuild the motor on my Luv, but Im thinking that will cost be about 1400 if I take my mechanic. What would be cool if someone upgraded their luv to a V8 and had a stock 4 banger in good shape they would sell me.

Where did we all decide to meet on the friday night of the get together? I know we were talking about meeting up at K-mart until Derek reminded me that K-mart is about impossible to get to when they close Hilltop for the parade.

i am new to the luv site but this is my 2nd luv haha i had a 74 with a half shell and a walk threw and my new one is a 75 with step side yes she is stock (for banger)now i have a car show on the 1st you all can come to it if you want to we will have all kinds of mags (mini truckn /tailgate)and so on the show is (danger zone )for info go to (dangerous-toys.org)

So you guys are metting on that friday at 730, and you need to choose a place that wont be cut off by the parade. How about Saturday, will everyone be around that day as well.

Im going to be here friday since I live here. I was thinking it would be cool if the people that get here on friday could get together if they arent too tired from the long drive drive time it takes to get here. I know for sure I will be out cruising around in my truck if I have to go by myself.

I mean I will be out cruising around if the weather looks good. Probably not a good idea to be driving in the rain with your carbs hanging out of the hood.

I know, I wanna put on my scoop with my cut hood, but I guess we'll wait and see what the weather is gonna be like

Well Diarmadhim (Dennis) told me tonight that the motor in his luv blew today , so either, we got some work to do, or he might not have a luv to bring to the meet I think we might be in for a world record v8 swap to do in the next 3 days or so

That sucks. I still have to put my motor in before I can go.
