My truck will be painted this week and I will get it next week. I have been thinking about the dash and what to do with it. Has anyone had any luck with the guy in Australia or do I need ro go to the guy in L.A.? Before anyone tells me to get a dash cap on it, my dash is too messed up to do that to. I will not be happy with the interior until I have a new dash. Hell, I am in this far whats another grand.

Ive been having the same prob. you can get a molded cap that will act the same, so far that is the direction it appears Im gonna have to go, my dash is horrible too it looks like a rig ran over it more than a few times but the more i look into the molded caps it looks like they will work the same.

I just called just dashes in the Valley (L.A.) and I am looking at $800.00. The main problem is it will take 10 weeks. I am going to the wreaking yard tomorrow to try to find a good core for them to rebuild. I am hoping to get them to get it done quicker so I will have it back in time for the Nor Cal meet.

Have you considered having a local customizing shop fiberglassing your dash? You could have that done for way under $800...
