In the auction forum someone posted a link to a couple Stomper LUVs, well, I thought I would share my collection of Stomper LUVs with you all.

So here they are:





















Anyone else have any of these. Some I've owned since the early 80's others I have aquired more recently through Ebay. The ones that have the light blue packaging were actually available at Toys R Us stores a couple years ago.

I had sooo many of those when I was a kid. At school during recess we would make huuuuge tracks for them in the dirt. We would bank the corners so the Stompers would follow the track around turns and stuff.

After a while we started modifying them to race at school. Just added batteries and stuff like that. After a while, some kids started stacking watch batteries in series to produce more voltage. Granted the batteries wouldn't last long at all, but they sure would haul ass for a little while.

...and there was the whole never ending argument about which was better, the Stompers or the Rough Riders?

don't have any stompers but since i am a stepside nut i have 12 of these
