today i got my bed put back together and if you look close at the front you can see how the bed has changed.

it looks alot better with the bed centered up like that. as for the tailgate mod, i sould just leave it as it is. they looks good from the factory. but its up to you.

lookin pretty good man. your right though, it does need a body drop. aqnd maybe some lower profile tire. not a whole lot thinner, but just a wee bit.

yeah i've been thinking about gettin some 50 series(i've got 55's) but then i wount tuck as much rim. that and i wont be getting any lower buy switching tires. so im holding out till' there's a tire sale....i cant find any used one any where! i've tride all the tire shops and junk yards....even ebay!

Looks like the bed could come up a tad, the body line doesn't quite line up just right. The chop looks pretty good though, but cutting out at the front of the bed kinda messes with the line down from the cab flowing into the bed. Only other way to do it would have been slicing a section from the middle of the bed between the fender and the upswoop of the line on the side of the bed. That would have meant many more hours of cutting/welding and it would all have been exposed so it would have to be perfect.

That thing is damn low, looks like you could pick the tires up off the ground the way it sits. Body drop it, put some magnesium pads on the low points of the frame, and it would put on one hell of a sparks show. :twisted: Makes for a great theft deterrant too, even a wrecker would be hard pressed to drag it off with the frame on the ground. :lol:

hey twist how much did your air bag sus. cost you if you dont mind me askin? and was it very difficult to put on? oh and one more question was all your suspension stock before you put it on?

Have you seen his cardomain page? If not, click the www under his sig. It looks like he made a 4link with a C notch to drop it even further. I'm sure he can explain things better though.

yeah the bed still needs to be shimmed. as for the suspension it was all stock. just to remember you blove i am on a s10 blazer frame. anyways i'll make a list really quick!
1 5 gal. tank $50
4 1/2" valves $150
4 2500lb. bags $200
1 ajustable pressure switch $25
1 viair 380c compressor $164(should have got a 400c or 450c)
2 switches $10
fittings $20
12' 5/8" airline $30
10' 1/2" airline $15
