What forum do you think we could remove?

We had a request for a 4X4 forum. I think it's a good idea since we don't really have a category for this right now.

However, I think we are at our limit for forums. We have a few that could probably go. But I'm going to let you guys decide that.

If we drop a forum, the posts in that forum will get moved to something else, not deleted.

So vote and after a few days we'll make the change. For the sake of fairness, I've listed all the forums. There are a few that I seriously doubt will get any votes.

What about combing auction and wrecking yard?? Maybe just call it Parts or something like that???

yeah i vote on the auction and wrecking yard being combined. i think the forum should read aucwreck. :lol: but on the serious side i think it would be a good idea.

combine website and site news maybe? Wrecking yard sort of a parts wanted section, so combining it with auction isn't quite a perfect match.

You could restructure the parts section though, auction and classified as one with a parts wanted section. The general forum and the lounge could go together.

Personally, I could go either way on the Trivia section, traffic there is next to nil, and it could all just go to the lounge. I'd trade it for a 4x4 forum for sure.

thinking about it... site news and website could be combined. Ben, you could just make stickys on all the new photo threads you do... once you add a new one a week later or whenever you do it... just edit the first one and "un-sticky" it.

2 large and diverse forums into one?!?

i like 800's thought process.. i think that the classifieds should stay, but maybe just have a 2nd parts wanted to cleanse the classifieds of all that. the auction stuff could be incorporated into classifieds and the threads that are just to show a nice truck or something could be thrown in general.

the introduction forum is a tad slow, a very good ice breaker for newer members, but if they really feel the need to introduce themselves they could always do it in the lounge, or general for that matter. but lounge and general are pretty heavely used, i dont know if combining the two would be ok

and the trivia forum.. i cannot bring myself to open it... sorry drummer :cry:

but the 4x4 idea is a good one

i think it would be a cool idea to just merge forums. I think things have gotten kinda bussy lately. Also i dont think we need the reginal forums, the general forum picks that up.
