Anyone ever heard of a Toyota Stout? My local yard got one in and the body is very straight. Odd looking truck but kinda cool. Was wondering if anyone had some knowledge of the history of these....

In 1964 the stout 4x2 was first introduced to the american market as the first toyota pickup....

I believe that it was soon replaced with the toyota hi-lux.

that's all I know...

ya know the old J-trucks and Waganeers have always interested me. They look at least 10 years older than they are. Like that 80 J-truck up there, if i didnt know anything i would guess it was a 70s truck... :lol:
