hey guy's I am going to buy a open carrier and a mini spool for the rear end i just bought so i can put it in my luv (dana 44 out of a dj5 mail jeep 3.07 gears limited slip) ok here is the confusing part i want to go with a 4.56 gear but when i look up a new carier it says for 3.92 and higher ratio does this mean higher numbers like 3.93 3.94 3.95 and so on and so on or does this mean higer ratio like a highway gear like the 3.07 that is in it if some body can give me some insite please do . thx or maby some part numbers for the parts i am lookin for i just don't want to get the ring gear set and the wrong carier and mini spool.

usually when they say higher ratio they mean numerically lower. And a lower gear will be numerically higher.
