hey all, I am wanting to get a set of lowering blocks for the rear of my LUV. Do they have different sorts that fit different trucks? I have a friend who has a set that were of his hilux, would they fit? also another friend who has a set of a mazda 808 wagon that has rear leaves in the back, would they fit?
thanks

They are pretty much the same, some have a little bit bigger peg sticking up then others but a little filing will take care of that. at least thats what i have found

Most of the ones Ive looked at were universal. Like ctmandu stated you could probaly make them work with a little filing if needed.

Yep all pretty much the same, got to watch out on the cheaper brands as I have had a few buddies (not me luckily) had the pin break off of the block from torque (and probably not getting the Ubolts tight enough). Both my Luvs I have had to drill the holes in the axle plates bigger as the pin on the block was a larger diameter than the holes on the axle. Which is weird as I dont remember anyone else here mentioning they have had to do that.

i just tried to put 3"blocks on today and ran into the same problem. One of my blocks the pin came all the way out before i got them installed. so i guess im going to take them back and get some different ones.
