Hey, just wondering if anyone crammed some subs and amps behind their seats like I'm trying to do now. Anyways, post up your aftermarket stereo set-up, even if it's just a cd player. Post pics too. :)

is that in a luv?
I'll have pics of mine up in a few minutes

edit- here's mine. I found some old MDF board in the garage so I thought I'd use it. I don't really like the way it looks in here so I'm gonna rip it out and completely redo it, but it will be the same basic concept (with a little more planning). The box is just sitting in there, not anchored down, and not hooked up. Anyways, on with the pics

is your stock fuse box and alternator/generator pushing all of your stereo systems cause i cant get my cd player to keep a memory when i turn my truck off. and also when i'm going it works but soon as i let off of it and it idles down the cd player/radio cut off. so i was wandering how yall got all that stuff to work with stock luv wiring.

Yes that’s a luv it was from one on eBay for sale a while ago.

My son has a 1000watt system in his with a sub and booster and he hasn’t had any problems with his turning off or anything

If I were you I would run new wires, it's a quite simple project. Run one from the deck to your battery, that will be your constant and hold your memory. Then run one to a wire or fuse that turns on with your car, that's basically just an on/off. If you run new wires for those two that should fix your problem. The alternator has nothing to do with keeping memory or anything like that on your cd player. Everything is basically ran from the battery. If your alternator was old and not working as well as it should then you would notice your lights dimming and stuff like that, but not memory loss and etc...

There should be a wiring diagram in your owners booklet you got with the player, unless you bought it second hand, then just look up the model no. on google and it should pull up one.

For my sys.

I wanted to put the sub in the middle but there was no room because it was too deep, and Im using the stock bench seat.So I had to put in a lower postion so I could still use it.

How thick is it, there are slim subwoofers you can buy that are 2" to 4" thick out now, most are 12" subs and'll cost you $100+ for em'
