Ok it's kind of official now - Come this April 2006 we are planning a CA meet in Redding CA. Dennis mentioned coming down for the kool april nights car show/drags. Hopefully Gabe will have his truck running, and I should have a LUV, but I doubt I will have a cool V8 LUV at that time (but I have a fast nova!) and I just got an email from Tad and he is bringing his cool 73 out from Ukiah (the ultra clean Blue pro street truck in the gallery). So the loose plan is we'll meet at the track, or we can pick some other casual meeting spot, whatever works for everyone, but if the weather is nice im sure someone will end up at the drag strip in redding. So if you want to race, or just hang out, let us know if you plan to come out. The exact date would be April 7th and 8th (fri and sat) of the car event, they will have a street legal drag event that will more than likely be packed, but it's always fun.

Right on! Yes give or take 30 mins. Hopefully others will migrate down from Oregon, hopefully I can get the word out to all I know in cali.. I found the guys number that had my 75 last in Sonora, maybe we can turn this into something big! BIG!!! lol

If you are thinking about a hotel, I suggest you call NOW, cuz I hear they get full, about 2 months in advance. I am gonna check on a place to tent it!!!

Yes good point about lodging. This place is a freak show in April for the car show. I could probably put one or 2 people up at my place if push came to shove!

Iam from wash but Ill be there. Idaho meet is following weekend and wash one was canceled so Ill be here and Idaho next weekend.. will need a map to place being held in redding. :wink:

Ok update, just got of the phone with Jerry (the guy that now owns my old yellow 75 LUV) in Sonora, he is going to bring his truck out for the meet. Hopefully get a chance to see my first real LUV again lol. I was kinda glad to hear it only gets driven on good weather days, and he had it out at Hot August nights in 03 and I guess, well Ill let him tell you guys! lol Sounds like another bitchen LUV truck ill say that much!
