about 12 years ago I wad worked at a VW dealership as a mechanic. I guess I worked there foe 5 Years. I still know alittle

He probably wants information like, are they reliable, efficient, mechanically sound, etc... not "Who's worked for VW before?"

lol, well actually i have a vw now, 79 scirocco, just kinda nice to know that i can ask questions about these wierd cars. i know a little, i re-built the motor in my rocco. just the other day found out it had a blown head gasket so ya. some parts/tools to work on these cars are hard to find, like the all12mm 12pt en wrench style tool for the head bolts, i've looked everywere for one but cant find it. snapon said they would have one in a week thou. but its nice to know that the wonderful luvtruck comunity can help me out with this new car
