dont know anything about them , but i saw one in a yard today. humongo 2 bbl. not sure of the year, but i can check.

A lot of them used G180 motors just like the LUV. I'll have to look up some HP specs and see if they might have had a bigger carb, tho the one you are looking at could just have a Weber or other aftermarket unit on it.

do you think it would be worth further investigation? it has a funny looking, what appears to be, rocker cover. looks kinda like the top of a fuel inj. set up. you know, the smooth plastic cover looking thing on a v-8?

Yeah, it does sound like it might be worth looking into. I might have to look around online and see what sort of pics I can find. Sounds interesting. I doubt it will be a source of super high HP parts for LUVs, but you never know.

guy i knew ran an OPEL GT in s/g or p/g for years. Crower injected SBC. Left with the front wheels about 3 feet off the ground. The thing was BAD!.
