What is the exact difference between a 327 and a 350? what can be done with a 327? can it be made into a stroker? I just got a 327 for $300 and was wondering what can be done? My buddy is offering me his high rise tunnel intake. what will it do? another guy said he can turbo it for me and get good hp.

i am far from an expert.. but as far as i know.. the 327 is a SBC, and shares the 350's bore.. but has a shorter stroke.. hence a lil easier to rev higher and less low end torque than the 350.

i beleive that there are some differences in cams and whatnot as well

other with give you much more info.. as well as probably correct mine :lol:

its all about what you want to do with the motor. you can do the same stuff to a 327 as to a 350 its all about moving air in and moving air out. carb, intake, headers, cam, heads, etc. etc. . stepping up any one of these (preferrably all of them) will free up HP in your 327.
