I finally got my truck running with the 3.8. For some reason, it idles high. On the carb it has two vacuum line; one in the back and on the passenger side. For the brake, I connected the rear vacuum line to it and pledged the other off. There is also a vacuum line that goes to the tran, I connected it to the intake manifold. The adjustment screw is backed off so that's not the reason. I need help!

1st guess is a vac. leak. Get you a big can of carb cleaner, and start spraying around everything. Good luck :!:
