is this your truck luvinit? i have 5 q of that orange color and was thinking about black racing stripes up the hood roof and back through the bed and over the tail gate

i though it was a pretty original idea for a luv truck.....now i got to figure something else out......

my wife was talking about the old gunmeatal olive or gray and doing a ww2 bomber kinda thing, pinup and all. dunno though.....man i gotta think bout this all over again.

Yes, that be me!!! My brother wants me to paint the stripes down it too I wanna run a gray strip down the bottom, and do the bed in gray also. Might look good, dunno?

I think you should shade in some verticle lines that slope together towards the top of the cab. Mold a fiberglass stem for the top of the cab. Paint the stem green, then get custom plates that say... KLRPUKN.

that was the plan.......i'm really leaning torwards the bomber motif, i was concerned about the emblems (air force). you know, the bars and star. that wouldn't piss anybody off since i never served?

i need some pictures of similarly painted aircraft, anybody have some?

the stripes would look awesome, i don't know bout the gray. my plan was matte black(or black powder coated on the metal parts) for ALL the trim, mirrors, bumper and rims.

Been done, and to a very positive result. Voted one of the hardest hitting mini's of 05. same as you mentioned all the way down to the pinup. Has a yoke for a wheel and a custom made aluminum fighter pilot seat. interior has the allt he guages reworked to have the square mounting flange like all aircraft have.

there would be no problem with you sporting the stars and bars, or any services crest with the exception of the corps globe. that one you might want to ask about. as for the other services i'm sure they wouldn't mind and long as there is nothing slanderous too that service. ill vouch for the fact that if it is someone will let you know, and not in a way you would want to be informed. did a few midnight raids myself. but go with what your heart and gut are telling you and you'd better post some picks when you get it done.

and as for the bomber pics ill see what i can do. my fiance's grandfather flew bombers, and her father collects old memorabilia such as that. i'm sure they have some photos i can copy and load up.
